Lynsted Park near Faversham, Kent, offers an exceptional, private location for weddings and receptions. With only a limited number of days available for events, it’s a hidden gem of a place to get hitched. The wonderful grounds also make the perfect venue for other special events like birthdays, anniversaries and renewing vows.
The South Room, within Lynsted Park House, is a Georgian, triple aspect room with a parquet wooden floor, high ceilings, a stately fireplace and French doors onto a York stone terrace and courtyard. The South Room accommodates up to 60 guests, with some standing. It is ideal for smaller, intimate ceremonies and during the winter months. Use the gardens for beautiful photographs after the event. It can also be used when the weather means outdoor ceremonies cannot take place. In this situation, should you have more than 60 guests we are able to add a gazebo to the rear of the room. Or currently, the Kent Ceremonies Team can marry you in a marquee, if the weather prohibits being outdoors. This is a relaxation of their original rules, but it could change again as rules regarding Covid adjust.
