‘Ceremony only’ … it said in the Lynsted Park diary …. ‘with drinks on the terrace afterwards,’ but we’ve learnt that those who have their marriage ceremony here (without the full reception bit), create just as big an impact as those who also party the night away with us. M&S’s October wedding was early autumn magic. M and her brilliant bridesmaids stayed the night before, and there was endless laughter and happiness from start to finish. The girls wore silk crepe dresses of the prettiest muted pinks but M, just as she should, stole the show in a stunning, lightly-beaded, figure-hugging gem-of-a-dress. She looked beyond beautiful and the very talented nataliedphotography captured it all effortlessly. Sharply dressed S with his merry band of boys were funny and charming as they mingled with guests and fixed their buttonholes of large, lush roses. The indoor ceremony worked perfectly for their 45 guests, creating an intimate marriage-moment; tears, tissues, hugs and happiness were the order of the day. Our thanks, as ever, to the wonderful akentishceremony team for officiating the service – they do a truly magnificent job. Following the ceremony it was prosecco(s!) in hand, relaxing on the terrace, enjoying the views and meeting up with old friends. Our biggest thank you goes to the couple and their gorgeous guests for creating an afternoon to treasure and remember forever. With big love and thanks from us all at Lynsted Park.
