S&M Wedding

S&M’s magical May wedding, was a lesson in attention to detail.   Wearing the most stunning of dresses the bride totally stole the show, just as she should, and her five fabulous bridesmaids wore sweeping, floor-length gowns and drop-dead gorgeous smiles.  Both bride and bridesmaids held picture-perfect bouquets created by the supremely talented Kelly Russell.   Kelly also turned the outdoor wedding gazebo into a heaven of white flowers and grey-green foliage. Lynsted Park have had more enquiries about ‘those flowers’ in ‘those urns’ than any other.  Beautiful images of those off-the-chart florals were spectacularly captured by Clare Randall Photography and everything she pointed her camera at seemed to glow.  After the ceremony, performed by the faultless akentishceremony , drinks and canapés were held on the front lawn.  A quick spattering of rain brought out the Lynsted Park umbrellas – surprisingly rarely used – and it was good to see them put to use for 15 mins!  The Reception was housed in an awesome 3-hat Tipi put up by My Tipi Event who worked tirelessly to make everything look beautiful in the Tipi.  It’s quite something to watch a Tipi go up and down … properly hard work.

As guests enjoyed the finest scallops and then beef (served with THE best dauphinoise potatoes) followed by pudding,  it was clear that Suzie McCully and her team had wielded their culinary magic yet again.  And what incredibly nice people they are too – we love working with them.  The groom made a wonderful speech and had the ability to think of everything and everyone – what a very, very lovely guy.  Friends and family danced the night away on a permanently-packed dance floor – a proper party from beginning to end.

A really big thank you to the couple and their brilliant family and friends – many of whom we saw again, in the days after the wedding as they came to collect things – what a pleasure to meet you all.  S&M we wish you everything you could ever hope for in the future.  With love and thanks from us all at Lynsted Park.
